Transforming Fort Worth Business

The Fort Worth, Texas Chamber of Commerce, with more than 2,000 member businesses, is celebrating 130 years of being the premier business organization in Tarrant County, and the second-largest chamber in the DFW region.

Through B2B marketing, informational events, business recruitment and retention, workforce development and government advocacy, the Chamber’s mission is to ensure that Ft. Worth, the 16th-largest city in the U.S., is a prime location in which to live, work and do business.

The Chamber realized that the excitement and energy that they are building in the city of Fort Worth was not being effectively displayed on their outdated website. They realized that an effective website was critical to making an accurate and powerful first impression with prospective businesses. Their rigorous decision making process ended with the selection of AM Design. With that, we began an extensive process to define what was needed to transform their vision.

Chamber organizations, as a whole, have an endless amount of important information that has to be organized effectively to allow users to access it easily. Our goal was to create a navigation structure that highlighted the diverse business culture of Fort Worth as well as support the large amount of the day-to-day operations of the Chamber.

Through our process we helped them make the most of their budget by integrating a multi-site approach which made it easy and cost effective to create and maintain several websites through one content management system. Our design process resulted in an overall feel that reflects who they are and showcases many of the great landmarks that define the Fort Worth landscape. AM also built the site using non-flash technology to make it display well on the growing mobile/tablet device user base.

The Chamber is thrilled with the results and we thank their staff for all their hard work and commitment throughout the development process. We look forward to seeing how this site will make an impact for business in Fort Worth.
